Jakarta Slide

Slide is an open-source content management system from the Jakarta project. It is printed in Java and implements the WebDAV protocol. Slide is a set of APIs to implement the Web DAV client. Due to this Slide can also be seen as a Content Management Framework. The use of Web DAV, which is a superset of HTTP, makes Slide an ideal candidate for web-based content management. Among the applications of Slide are their uses as a file server, in intranet applications, and as an excellent repository for XML both as properties and versioned files for persistence of JavaBeans. It also has an extensible storage mechanism that can be used for Integration and adaptation.

Vegetable

Vegetable is a culinary term which usually refers to an edible part of a plant. The definition is traditional rather than scientific and is somewhat impulsive and subjective. All parts of herbaceous plants eaten as food by humans, entire or in part are normally considered vegetables. Mushrooms, though belonging to the biological realm fungi, are also commonly considered vegetables. In general, vegetables are thought of as being savory, and not sweet, even though there are many exceptions. Nuts, grains, herbs, spices and culinary fruits are usually not considered vegetables.

Equinox

An equinox in astronomy is the occurrence when the Sun can be observed to be directly above the Earth's equator, occurring around March 21 and September 22 each year. On these dates, night and day are nearly of the same length and the Sun cross the celestial equator. More technically, the equinox happens when the Sun is at one of two opposite points on the space sphere where the celestial equator and ecliptic intersect. In a wider sense, the equinoxes are the two days each year when the center of the Sun spends an equal amount of time above and below the horizon at every location on Earth. The word equinox derives from the Latin words aequus and nox.

Salad

Salad is a light meal — or, as part of a larger meal, much more of a taster — consisting of mixed vegetables or fruit, frequently with a dressing or sauce, occasionally nuts and sometimes with the addition of meat, fish or cheese. It is generally seen as a healthy dish, although not always low in calories, salt, sugar, or fat because of the dressing that is often added. The word "salad" comes from the French salad of the same meaning, which in twist is from the Latin salata, "salty", from sal, "salt".
